Cheryl Creech Kersey has served as the firm’s President since its inception in 1992. She is both a licensed architect and certified interior designer. Throughout her career, Ms. Kersey has developed a leadership style of creating consensus and building relationships with a focus on positive outcomes for her clients in both public and private development. The firm maintains a broad range of project types and offices in downtown Louisville, Kentucky and outside Madison, Indiana.

Ms. Kersey has developed her career to balance her strong professional background in architecture, design and construction, with her efforts to improve her community through a variety of charitable and volunteer programs and activities. As President of her professional design firm, she believes that the greater service to the community is to balance ones professional expertise with social responsibility.

Steven Kersey is an architect and urbanist, serving as the firm’s Vice President since its inception in 1992. Mr. Kersey believes that architecture, by extension, becomes the city in time. His education and career have taken him to highest levels of his field having designed projects throughout the world of nearly every program type and climate condition. Working first to understand client needs, he leads a team of professionals dedicated to answering complex questions through a design process that focuses on creativity and efficiency.

Mr. Kersey is also CEO of a development firm, Integrated Services, that combines feasibility and financial underwriting with solution-oriented development. His development firm specializes in combining public and alternative funding resources for development projects that can serve a public function and fulfill a social need. Tax credit financing and tax increment financing are particular interests.
